Cacao Ceremony

Discover a deeper connection with the land and soak in gratitude in this Cacao Ceremony workshop held at Thrive Yoga Summit. 

Gathering with cacao creates community, promotes healing and helps shift the narrative of consuming chocolate in an unhealthy way to honoring it as a self-care ritual. This "chocolate" of course, is much different. No added sugar, handled only by women, blessed by a Mayan Priestess and holds certain energy according to the Mayan sun calendar. 

Over our two hour journey together, we will ground, breathe, meditate and open up to listen to our inner guidance. After opening our hearts into the space, we bring the beautiful medicine of ceremonial cacao into our local body and share love and gratitude. While preparing our mind, body and soul to receive the cacao and what we need at this time, we prepare to flow into a two-step somatic breathwork technique. After a group breathwork session accompanied by a carefully curated playlist, we hold space for what came up for each other, knowing we are in a safe, sacred and discreet zone.
